ARROW FOR A STONE HEART
Project under development
Hybrid Documentary | 80 ' | Brazil
Direction Luiza Calagian and Vinicius Toro
While Poty arrives in the center of São Paulo to sell her baskets, Tiago, leader of the same indigenous people, participates in political negotiations about their traditional lands on the heart of the metropolis. In the midst of their incursions, the history of the city is told through the indigenous view, flowing between everyday, dreamlike and mythological narratives. Finally, fantastic realism spreads, while the Guarani, among the living, the dead and the gods, invade the city and symbolically reclaim the territory that was brutally assaulted.
